Responding to an RFQ Discussion
On the Buy & Sell module main page (Your Buy & Sell module), an entry under the Negotiations area indicates a discussion waiting for your response. On the Request for Quote page, this is also indicated by a Discussion Waiting message in the Status column for an RFQ.
To respond to an RFQ line item discussion:
On the Buy & Sell main page (Your Buy & Sell module), click the link under Negotiations.
This opens the Negotiations page for the RFQ line item.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to read the discussion.
To respond, type your comment in the text box.
Click the ADD NEW COMMENT button.
The comment is added at the bottom of the page (scroll down, if needed, to see
it). The date and time, author, and recipient also are recorded.
Note: All comments (to and from the recipient) are retained, associated
with the line item.
Click the EXIT button to return to the RFQ/Quote
Worksheet.
