(The Picture Search is available only for connectors, switches, IC sockets and connector accessories.)

Use this search to find parts in a selected device category that have the characteristics you specify. The characteristics include parameters (technical characteristics), manufacturer, and device availability status.

Note: Except for the initial way you select a category (by selecting a representative picture instead of a name from the category tree), the Picture Search is identical to a Parametric Search. Each picture represents a leaf-level category in the category tree.

To start a search, click the Picture Search link on the initial Design Center page.

1. By default, connector pictures are displayed first. Click a link at the top of the page (Accessories, I.C. Sockets, etc.) if you want to see a different category of pictures.
   
   
2. Click a picture.
   This opens a new page, which displays parameter options for the selected device category.
   
   
3. From this point, the procedure is the same as Step 2 of the Parametric Search procedure.
