QBE (Query-By-Example) Search Procedure

This search lets you find cross-reference parts based on key parametric criteria from a reference part. A QBE search can be initiated from a device detail page, a replacements search page, and a parametric search results page.
Click the Go button associated with a QBE search
This takes you to the parametric search page with certain parameters and values pre-selected. The type and number of parametric values displayed will depend on the part used to initiate the QBE search.
From this point the display results button can be selected to view the part(s) found, or the search can be modified by adding to, deleting from, or modifying the QBE parameter set.
To remove parameters, click their checkboxes and then click the remove button.
To add parameters, select the parameter from the left side of the page and then select from the values that appear on the right side of the page.
To modify a parameter, first remove it to see if it results in finding a greater number of parts to choose from. If it did, re-select that parameter to review the new values available to modify the search with. If it did not and you want to add it back to your criteria, then re-select the parameter and value to put it back into the list of search refinements. Each time a parameter is removed, it opens up the possibility of finding more devices since fewer criteria are being applied in the search. For certain devices it may be necessary to remove two or more parametric values in order to create a larger results set to work with.
To review the part(s) found using the parametric search, select the "Display Results" button.
